About us

Kidsland is the children’s ministry of Hawkesbury Church. Hawkesbury Church values family and children and believes that families are our greatest asset. We believe God created our children to be Champions.

In Kidsland we see a generation of champions who stand firm in their faith.

We aim to create a place that is kids focused, fun, exciting and the best hour and half of a kids week. A place where kids can learn about God through teaching that is relevant, creative and applicable. A place where our kids can make friends and have fun within a safe environment. We want to challenge kids to daily walk with God and Stand Firm in their faith.

The Sunday morning program caters for children aged from 0 to year 6 with programs running during the Sunday church services.

Guardians Room
Parents with babies can relax in our Guardians Room located on level 5. Parents can sit back and enjoy the service while their child plays in a fun and safe environment. A feeding room is also available for mothers.

Lil’ Champs
Lil’ Champs is our Crèche program for children who are walking and aged 1 to 3 years old. The Lil’ Champs program is run for the duration of both Sunday services. The morning service is held on the ground floor level of the villa, for directions please ask any Kidsland leader, and the night service is combined with our Heroes program and held in the Heroes room on level 4.

Heroes
Our 3 - 5 year olds (Preschool to Kindergarten) are Heroes and their fun filled program starts at 9:30am in the Kids auditorium on level 2 and finishes in the Heroes’ room on level 4. In our evening services the Heroes’ join in praise and worship with their families before heading off for a short program. Please sign your children in at the level 2 registration desk before each service and collect them from the Heroes’ room on level 4 after the service.

Champions
We believe our primary school aged kids (years 1-6 at school) are Champions! The Champions program runs during our 9:30am service every Sunday and includes preaching; small groups and discipleship; games and great friends. Sign your kids in at the Level 2 registration desk before the service and pick them up from the Kids auditorium on Level 2 straight after the service.
